Guide
One QR code for the App Store and Google Play
Last updated
A normal store QR code opens one store. To serve both, the code has to point at a smart link. Make a Jumper link, download its QR code as SVG or PNG, and print it: iPhones that scan it open the App Store, Android phones open Google Play.
How to make the code
- Create a Jumper link. Paste your App Store and Google Play links on the create screen and save the link.
- Open the QR code of the link. Pick colours and, on paid links, add your logo. The preview is the code you will print.
- Download the SVG for print. Use the SVG for posters, packaging and business cards, and the PNG for slides and web pages.
- Test it with two phones. Scan the printed code with an iPhone and an Android phone before you send it to the printer.

Questions
Can one QR code work for both the App Store and Google Play?
Yes, if it encodes a smart link instead of a store address. The phone camera opens the Jumper link, and Jumper redirects an iPhone to the App Store and an Android phone to Google Play.
Can I change the destination after printing?
Yes. The code contains the Jumper link only. Change where it points in the dashboard and every printed code follows.
Can I put my logo in the QR code?
Yes, on paid links. Free links get a plain code in your choice of colours. Both come as SVG for print and PNG for screens.
What happens when someone scans it on a computer?
They land on your website, or on a Jumper page for your app with the official store badges and a form that sends the link to their phone.
