Questions

What does Jumper do?

Jumper gives your app one short link and one QR code. iPhones and iPads go to the App Store, Android phones to Google Play (or the Galaxy Store and AppGallery when you set them), and everyone else to your website or a Jumper app page. You paste your store link once and Jumper fills in the rest. No SDK, no ads and no delay page.

Why do App Store links break inside Instagram and TikTok?

Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other apps open links in their own in-app browser, and on iPhone that browser does not hand App Store links to the App Store app. Jumper notices the in-app browser and shows a one-tap page whose button opens the App Store. On Android it asks the phone to open Google Play directly.

What does Jumper cost?

Every account gets 3 free links with a random address, renewed for free every year. After that a link costs $2 a year, or less in packs. During the launch, every account can also create up to 100 launch links at no charge, with custom addresses, your own QR logo and no Jumper footer.

How long does the launch offer last?

The launch offer can end at any time for new links. Launch links that already exist keep their full 12-month term. When a launch link comes up for renewal, it renews at the normal price, and we email you well before that. Your 3 free links are not part of the offer and stay free.

How does renewal work?

Every link, free or paid, runs for 12 months from when it was created or last renewed. We email you 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before it expires and on the day itself. Free links renew with one click from that email, no login needed (the button works for 45 days). Nothing renews or charges automatically.

What happens when a link expires?

It keeps working for 14 more days, and we remind you. After that, visitors see a plain “this link has expired” page with no ads and no destination. You can renew it for 12 months after the expiry date and everything comes back as it was, including the printed QR code. After those 12 months the link is deleted and its address is never given to anyone else.

What happens to my links if Jumper shuts down?

We would email you at least 90 days before, give you an export of your links and settings, keep every link working for those 90 days, and refund the unused part of any paid time. This promise is part of our terms.

Does Jumper track the people who tap my link?

No cookies are set on Jumper links and we never store a visitor’s IP address or full browser string. Stats count taps by day, device type, country, referring site and campaign tags. Our data is stored with Cloudflare in the EU.

How does Jumper stop abuse?

Store links can only point to the official stores. Website addresses are checked against Google Web Risk when a link is saved and every week after that, and an automatic classifier reads the destination page and any hosted page. Anyone can report a link at jumper.to/report. A person reviews every report within 24 hours, and owners can appeal a block.

Can I create as many links as I want?

An account can create up to 20 links a day. For more than 100 links, write to hello@jumper.to and we will set you up.
