Jumper links are for sending people to apps and the websites that go with them. A link, its app page and its hosted pages must not lead anywhere on the list below. If one does, we disable it, and for serious cases we close the account.
Not allowed
- Phishing: pages that imitate a brand or service to collect logins, passwords, card numbers or other personal data.
- Malware or unwanted software, or downloads that hide what they install.
- Adult or pornographic content, including adult dating and escort services.
- Child sexual abuse material. We disable at once, close the account and report to the authorities.
- Content illegal in the EU or where the visitor is: weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, gambling without a licence, stolen data and similar.
- Hate or harassment: content that attacks people for who they are, threatens or harasses them.
- Spam and scams: fake giveaways, get-rich-quick or crypto-doubling schemes, fake shops, tech-support scams, mass unsolicited messages.
- Copyright or trademark infringement: pirated apps, cracked software, or pages that pass themselves off as someone else’s product.
- Deceptive links: a link, name or app page that misrepresents where it goes, or a destination that changes into something else after it was approved.
App store listings are presumed fine: Apple and Google review them. What we check is the website address, the link’s name and app page, and hosted pages.
How we screen links
- Store fields only accept official app store addresses.
- Website addresses are checked against Google Web Risk when you save the link and every week after. A listed site cannot be saved.
- An automatic classifier reads the destination page and each hosted page. Clear violations are disabled at once and the owner is told why; borderline results go to a person.
- Anyone can report a link. A person reviews every report within 24 hours.
Reporting a link
Use the report form (every Jumper page has a “Report” link), or write to hello@jumper.to, which is the right address for registries, hosting providers, brands and law enforcement. Phishing and malware reports that Google Web Risk or our classifier confirm are disabled on receipt; otherwise a link is disabled after two independent reports, and every report is reviewed by a person within 24 hours.
Copyright and trademark owners can use the same form or address. Tell us which link, what right is infringed and how to reach you. We remove infringing links and tell the owner, who can respond.
What happens to a link that breaks the rules
- We disable it: visitors see a neutral “link disabled” page. We email the owner the reason and a link to appeal.
- A person answers every appeal within 24 hours. If it is upheld, the link comes back and its term is extended by the time it was down.
- For phishing, malware, child sexual abuse material or repeated violations we close the account. Links disabled for cause are not refunded (Refunds and blocks).
- We may block a website for all Jumper links. Links to a blocked site cannot be saved.
